Targeted People-Risk Assessments
We prepare a custom analysis for situations such as a restructuring, an office move or the particular strain of a specific role. We always tailor the methodology to the organization, so that sources of risk become visible and manageable in time.
What is the program about?
A targeted assessment methodology (questionnaire and analysis), tailored to the organization, for a specific risk situation.
Some situations have no standard assessment: a high-risk role where safety depends on the human factor; a move that reshapes employees' everyday lives; a major change that the organization is either ready for or not; or workplace stress that needs to be measured before it turns into symptoms. Targeted assessments provide fact-finding and risk analysis for these specific situations.
What the organization gets: Human Factor Assessment: insight into what needs extra attention and how the risks can be managed; Office Move: data-driven support for choosing the new location, plus change management consulting; Change Readiness: a picture of the organization's capacity to absorb change and of the targeted development it needs; Psychosocial Risk Assessment: identified stress factors and the state of employees' psychological fitness.
Who is the program for?
For organizations that want a fact-based picture of a specific, risky situation. It is especially timely when the risks arising from the human factor need to be uncovered in high-risk roles, or when the choice of location ahead of an office move or headquarters relocation should be matched to employees' needs.
When is it worth starting?
- the readiness of the organization and its people needs to be assessed before a major change
- psychosocial risks need to be assessed because of legal or internal requirements.
How we work
We have established methodologies, already used with clients, for four situations: Human Factor Assessment, Office Move, Change Readiness and Psychosocial Risk Assessment. For anything that doesn't fit these, the consulting team develops a custom assessment, always tailored to the organization.
The consulting team can also develop an assessment methodology for most individual needs, always tailored to the organization, so that sources of risk become visible and manageable in time.
Targeted assessments provide fact-finding and risk analysis in a specific organizational situation; in every case, we adapt the methodology (questionnaire and analysis) to the situation at hand. Scope and timing vary by project.
Established assessment types
- Human Factor Assessment: in high-risk roles that carry great responsibility (air traffic control, for example), it examines what risks or potential for error lie in the human factor when a change or a new technology is introduced
- Office Move: before an office move or headquarters relocation, it surveys employees' needs so that management can choose the new location that suits them best; it can range from analyzing baseline data through site selection to change management consulting
- Change Readiness: before a major change or a series of changes, it assesses the state of the organization and its people, revealing how well they can absorb the change and which areas (training, structure, communication) need targeted development
- Psychosocial Risk Assessment: it asks about employees' current psychological fitness, stress factors (lack of development, conflicts, lack of support, overload, work-life balance) and the presence of stress symptoms (sleep disorders, anxiety, psychosomatic illnesses).
