CSIP A continuous improvement mechanism
This mechanism is for organizations that want to make continuous improvement part of everyday work.
CSIP (Continuous Service Improvement Process)
GROW's own methodologyBuilding continuous improvement into everyday operations, not as a project but as a routine.
- We introduce weekly one-hour team meetings
- The meetings are facilitated by an internal CSIP Champion, trained by GROW
- Improvement ideas come from the team, not from the top
- The goal is for an improvement mindset to become part of the culture
The Continuous Service Improvement Process is a continuous improvement mechanism that becomes part of everyday work and makes organizational self-improvement part of the culture. It is based on lean methodology and uses simple, widely applicable tools to make improving processes, services and systems a natural part of employees' working lives. At its core, small teams meet weekly for one hour to work on mini-projects they define themselves, moving implementation forward week by week. The process is cyclical: when one project is finished, the next can begin. The work is facilitated by an internal, elected CSIP Champion, who receives thorough methodological preparation from GROW; GROW supports the rollout and its sustainability with a proven methodology. The mechanism energizes the organization in two ways: the results make work smoother and less stressful, and employees experience that, empowered by their leaders, they can implement improvements themselves.

What is the program about?
A lean-based improvement mechanism built on weekly one-hour team meetings and facilitated by an internal CSIP Champion trained by GROW.
What the organization gets: real improvement in day-to-day work that makes operations smoother and less stressful; and employees who experience firsthand that, working together as a team and empowered by their leaders, they can deliver improvements themselves.
Who is the program for?
For organizations that want to make continuous improvement part of their culture, and for leaders who want to energize the organization by empowering employees. It is especially timely if improvement currently happens in one-off projects rather than as part of everyday operations.
When is it worth starting?
- your employees can see what is not working smoothly, but have no framework for working on it
- your teams need the momentum that comes from visible results building week by week.
How we work
Small teams work on mini-projects they define themselves in weekly one-hour meetings, delivering visible results week after week. This is how the Continuous Service Improvement Process becomes built into everyday work and makes organizational self-improvement part of the culture.
Its aim is to energize the organization and spur it into action by empowering employees and producing continuous, visible results.
It is a mechanism based on lean methodology that uses simple, widely applicable tools to make improving their processes, services and systems a natural part of employees' working lives.
How does it work?
The process is cyclical and never stops: when one project is finished, the next one can begin. This one hour a week is dedicated time for employees to stop chopping wood and sharpen the axe instead.
The role of the CSIP Champion
The work is facilitated by an internal CSIP Champion, chosen from within the organization, who receives thorough methodological preparation from GROW. GROW supports the rollout and long-term sustainability of the process with a proven, award-winning methodology.
It is also worth starting if:
- you need a simple, widely applicable tool that does not require an outside presence every week.
