PCM® Process Communication Model
This training is for leaders and employees who want to connect with each other more effectively by understanding the six personality types.
PCM®
Licensed / external methodologyA scientifically validated, innovative toolkit for connecting effectively: communication based on personality types, including for handling stressful situations.
- Participants work with their own personality profile
- Shows how to adapt communication to the other person's type
- Makes stressful situations, and the patterns people fall into in response, recognizable
PCM® (Process Communication Model) is a scientifically validated, innovative toolkit that enables you to connect effectively with others. The model describes six personality types that are present in everyone, but in a different order and proportion; this determines which communication channel a person prefers, what motivates them and how they behave under stress. If you recognize these signs in someone's behavior, you can communicate in a tone that suits their type and respond to stress signals in time. In the programs, participants learn the basic concepts of the model and the structure of personality through their own, pre-completed personality profile, then practice applying all this in everyday life: communication styles, tools and recognizing stress signals, with colleagues and partners alike. At the advanced level, life positions, drivers, beliefs and distress behaviors are also covered.

What is the program about?
A 1- or 2-day group training, in person or online, built on the PCM® model; Thod support available on request.
What you take away: knowledge of the behavioral patterns and coping strategies of the personality types; the ability to infer a partner's personality and strengths from observed behavior; how to identify the “communication key” that fits your partner, down to the level of specific words.
Who is the program for?
For leaders and employees who want to connect with each other more effectively by understanding personality types. It is especially timely when employees want to better understand their own and others' personality types and behavioral patterns.
When is it worth starting?
- the goal is tailored communication with colleagues and partners
- recognizing stressful situations and handling them more consciously is important.
How we work
Everyone arrives at the training with their own personality profile, completed in advance, and uses it to learn the model's core concepts and the structure of the six types. The communication key is meant literally here: we learn which words connect with which type.
Two people say the same thing, and yet each hears something different. PCM® makes this phenomenon manageable: it is a scientifically validated, innovative set of tools that enables effective connection with others. The model describes six personality types that are present in everyone, but in a different order and proportion; this determines which channel a person prefers to communicate through, what motivates them and how they behave under stress. Those who recognize these signals can connect in a tone that suits the other person's type.
In the training, participants learn the model's core concepts and the structure of personality through their own personality profile, completed in advance, and then practice applying all this day to day: communication styles, tools and recognizing stress signals, with colleagues and partners alike.
Working from their own profile, participants learn to recognize stress signals and to communicate in a tone that fits the other type.
