Holding Strategic Course in a VUCA world
This three-hour program is for senior leaders who want inspiration and a tangible framework for an unpredictable market environment in a short time. The talk is built on the GROW KATAMARÁN Framework, and the closing workshop translates what you have learned to your own organization.
KATAMARÁN Framework
GROW's own methodologyGROW's own framework for holding a flexible strategic course in a turbulent market environment.
- Integrates proven, results-based methods such as OKR, 4DX and PowerScore
- Enables quick changes of direction without losing focus
- The senior leadership team applies it to its own organization
KATAMARÁN is GROW's own framework for holding a flexible strategic course in a turbulent market environment. Just as a catamaran's competitive edge comes from its twin-hull design, the framework integrates hard and soft aspects: it builds on results-based methods that have stood the test of the crises of recent decades, including the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) toolkit also used at Google, the 4DX principles for strategy execution, PowerScore, and proven agile and lean practices. The framework serves three things: focus, alignment and momentum. It enables quick changes of direction without losing focus, helps break the strategy down in a way that is relevant to lower levels, and provides strategic communication that does not trigger organizational resistance. Programs that use it are led by an OKR-certified organizational development consultant who researches the topic.

What is the program about?
A 3-hour talk and workshop in a group format, in person or online, built on the GROW KATAMARÁN Framework.
The era of five-year plans is over. In today's market, the companies that can grow are the ones that change direction quickly without losing focus. Senior leadership should think about this together, but rarely has a free week for it. Three hours, however, it does have.
What you take away: a clearer picture of the difference between continuous renewal and radical transformation; more conscious management of mission and vision, a rethought understanding of strategic roles and a better-aligned leadership team; realistic and inspiring goals, relevant performance indicators, and a line of thinking tailored to your own organization, developed in the mini workshop.
Who is the program for?
For senior leaders and leadership teams. It is especially timely when the senior leadership team wants inspiration and a framework for strategic agility within a short time.
When is it worth starting?
- the organization operates in a turbulent, fast-changing market environment
- a concise program that fits into the calendar is needed instead of a multi-day training.
How we work

The program is led by an OKR-certified organizational development consultant.
