Business Coach Training
This program is for practicing professionals who want to guide their clients confidently through leadership dilemmas and business situations too. Over six in-person training days and online mentoring sessions, we provide leadership development tools so that coaches can also work confidently in a business environment.
- When does it start?
- from March 2, 2027
- Participation fee
- from HUF 495,000 + VAT
What is the program about?
6 in-person training days, complemented by 4 small-group online mentoring sessions.
Core coaching skills, such as active listening, questioning techniques and coaching models, can prove insufficient in the middle of a leadership dilemma. There, the coach needs to understand the business goals, the typical conflicts of the leadership role, the organization's culture, and the fact that a leader faces different expectations at a multinational company, an SME and a family business. Business Coach Training builds on this level: it doesn't teach the fundamentals, but how to work with them confidently in an organizational and business context.
What you take away from the program: how to lead a business coaching process: framing and contracting in an organizational setting; confidence in handling the dilemmas of the leadership role; an integrated life and business coaching toolkit, with leadership skill coaching methods.
Who is the program for?
For practicing coaches who have completed a foundational coach training program of at least 50 hours (for example, the foundation or advanced level of GROW's Integrative Coach Training, or at another school) and have at least 20–30 hours of individual coaching practice. HR experts, middle managers and senior leaders who are already well versed in core coaching techniques or coaching-style leadership are also in the right place.
When is it worth starting?
- If you want to work with greater confidence on your clients' or colleagues' workplace and organizational topics
- If you want to lead coaching processes for middle managers or senior leaders
- If you want a closer look at leaders' typical challenges and dilemmas and the stages of a leader's career
- If you want deeper insight into how different types of organizations (multinationals, SMEs, family businesses) work and into their cultures
- If you are preparing for EMCC accreditation or renewing it (the program counts for 30 hours)
How we work
Over six in-person training days and four small-group online mentoring sessions, two of them with supervision, we move from framing and contracting, through the stages of a leader's career, to the leadership skill coaching toolkit. Along the way, everyone practices on their own client situations, and weekly coursework keeps the learning in motion.
GROW has been working in coaching for two decades, has trained more than 500 coaches, and several hundred leaders take part in its leadership development programs every year: the program is built on this experience. All of the coach-trainers bring their own business or leadership background. The entry requirement is a foundational coach training program of at least 50 hours.
Targeted leadership skills development
Coaching is one of the most powerful leadership development tools: it enables personalized, intensive development of skills and self-awareness within an organizational setting. Working with leaders is special, however, because the complex challenges and questions that arise in the leadership role are deeply embedded in the organizational and business context. To work confidently on these topics, a coach needs more than core coaching skills and tools: they must be able to develop the skills and underlying approaches that belong to the leadership role, uncover and challenge beliefs, and understand the differing expectations and the business goals within which the coaching process takes place.
The program fills a gap because it deliberately builds techniques for developing leadership skills and shaping mindsets on top of core coaching skills. Our leadership development programs show us what support leaders need, and we can tune the program's content to those needs. The aim is to train professional business coaches who create high-quality value for leaders' everyday success and who, by developing leaders, also have an impact on leadership culture in Hungary.

How to apply
When you apply, we ask for a short essay that gives us a picture of your prior training, motivations, self-awareness background and goals for the program. If you do not have a coaching qualification equivalent to 50 hours but, based on your other studies, practice and experience, believe that you have the core coaching skills, you can discuss with us by phone, in addition to the essay, whether your previous studies qualify you to join.
Participants receive a certificate on completing the program.
It is also worth starting if:
- EMCC accreditation or its renewal is on your agenda: the program counts for 30 hours.
