AI Beyond the Hype The role of AI in how organizations work

This workshop is for leaders and owners who want to treat artificial intelligence not as a technology project but as a leadership competency.

Length 4 hours

How it works Group · in person

What is the program about?

A four-hour, interactive, in-person leadership workshop on what generative artificial intelligence can and cannot do, and what leaders need to do about it.

Generative artificial intelligence is not something that will arrive tomorrow: it is already here, shaping competitors, internal processes and even client relationships. As leaders, our task is not to understand algorithms in detail but to be AI literate: to have a mindset and a toolkit that help us ask the right questions, set direction and lead the organization consciously through change.

What you take away: an understanding of how artificial intelligence fundamentally works and where its limits lie; the ability to ask good questions and set direction as a leader; a clear sense of where it can add real value in your organization; and knowledge of how to get started safely, in small steps.

Who is the program for?

For leaders and owners who want to treat artificial intelligence not as a technology project but as a leadership competency. It is especially timely if the leadership team needs to decide where to start and what to avoid.

When is it worth starting?

  • it is hard to tell the hype from real value
  • it is unclear what questions a leader should be asking about artificial intelligence
  • your organization wants to start small and safely, but does not know where.

How we work

This workshop is not a tool demo. Solutions built on large language models are still finding their place in the business world, and there are no universal recipes: organizations are not implementing, they are exploring. We provide a structured framework for this exploration, where expert knowledge about artificial intelligence meets business context and change management.

The future will not be written by those who can code, but by those who ask good questions and frame the problems to be solved well. That is why the four hours treat problem framing as a leadership skill: good questions, better prompts, better answers.

Questions the workshop explores

  • what artificial intelligence really is: what it can and cannot do
  • which internal initiatives support organic integration
  • what role leaders play in encouraging and managing bottom-up initiatives.

Topics

  • what AI literacy is, and why it is crucial for leaders
  • generative artificial intelligence: the hype and what lies behind it
  • what artificial intelligence can be used for in everyday leadership
  • where to start, and what to avoid
  • lessons from successful and failed AI initiatives
  • frameworks for responsible use: data, ethics, internal policies
  • problem framing as a leadership skill: good questions, better prompts, better answers
  • which internal projects leadership can launch.

Additional outcomes:

  • participants see how internal projects related to artificial intelligence can be launched
  • they leave with ideas and opportunities for collaboration.
