Gestalt-Based Self-Awareness
This two-day training is for leaders and team members who want to work through their sticking points with deeper emotional awareness.
Gestalt
Licensed / external methodologyPresence in the here and now: working consciously with blocks and contradictions.
- Builds deeper emotional awareness and self-awareness
- Works by recognizing one's own and others' subjective view of reality
The Gestalt approach is built on the here and now: on what is happening in the present, in the room, and on how a person relates to themselves, to others and to their environment. Its main tools are awareness, contact and experimentation: through clear observations and feedback, participants recognize the patterns in how they function and where they get stuck, and try out new ways of operating within a safe framework. In team coaching, Gestalt interventions focus on the team's forms of connection, polarities, subsystems and peripheries. It is a methodological pillar of GROW's Integrative Coach Training and a two-day module of the Integrative Team Coach Training, and we also run it as a standalone self-awareness training.

What is the program about?
Two-day group training, in person or online, with Gestalt-oriented exercises; also available with Thod support.
Everyone sees the world through their own picture of reality, and that picture carries both possibilities and limits. Gestalt-oriented self-awareness work is based on the here and now: on what is happening in the present, in the room. Starting from there, we recognize the characteristics of our individual and social behavior, so that more doors open to successful relationships and achievements.
What you take away: a higher level of emotional awareness and stronger self-esteem; tools for coping with problems; a deeper connection with yourself and your environment, including your colleagues and the organization.
Who is the program for?
For leaders and team members who want to work through their sticking points with deeper emotional awareness. It is especially timely when team members want to gain deeper emotional awareness and self-awareness.
When is it worth starting?
- the goal is to recognize and respect your own and others' subjective pictures of reality
- the contradictions and sticking points that come with change need to be handled more consciously.
How we work
The two days offer personal experience rather than theory: we start from what happens in the room, in the here and now, and work our way to standing up for your own needs. What happens between participants is the curriculum itself.
The two-day training is built on experiential exercises. We move from recognizing and respecting subjective realities, through objective observation and feedback, to the contradictions of change and standing up for your own needs. The goal is to understand and develop personal and social functioning, so that work and life become fuller and more effective.
Through experiential exercises, we become aware of how we connect with ourselves, with each other and with the organization.
