Creativity Development
This training is for leaders and employees who want to break out of entrenched workplace patterns through more flexible thinking.
What is the program about?
A one- or two-day group training, in person or online; also available with Thod support.
Creativity is not a gift that some people have and others don't; it is a capability that can be kept in shape, and that individual and organizational factors alike can nurture or stifle. A team's creativity depends on whether it can think together without ideas getting lost in routine and in the attention people pay to one another.
What you take away: refreshed, well-exercised creative ability; a method for thinking beyond fixed patterns; concrete tools for solving workplace problems and for increasing personal and group effectiveness.
Who is the program for?
For leaders and employees who want to break out of entrenched workplace patterns through more flexible thinking. It is especially timely when employees want to develop their individual creativity and flexible thinking.
When is it worth starting?
- When you need to understand what helps and what hinders your teams' creativity
- When cross-functional collaboration also needs to become more creative.
How we work
The training also looks at what stifles creativity in a team: routine, group roles and the attention people pay to one another, in which ideas get lost along the way. That is where the techniques come in: idea generation, mind mapping, cross-functional creativity and a few brain-teaser games.
We start from the concept of applied creativity and review what helps and what hinders creative work at the individual, group and organizational levels.
We practice idea-generation techniques so the team can approach familiar tasks from new perspectives.
