grow culture

The values are up on the wall. But the way things actually work says something else.

Culture is what works even when no one’s watching: how decisions get made, what happens with a mistake, who gets heard. That’s what grow culture is about, so that the way things are actually lived and the values you state out loud aren’t two separate things.

Sound familiar?

„We’ve posted our values. But in the hallway everyone knows the reality is something else.”

„The departments each work well on their own. But with each other they compete more than they cooperate.”

„Four generations work together here, and there’s more and more friction, but we have no data on exactly what it’s about.”

„A significant share of new colleagues leave within six months. They say this isn’t the company they’d imagined.”

If any of these sounds familiar, you’re in the right place. Culture can’t be declared into existence, but it can be measured and shaped deliberately.

How we think

Culture change isn’t a communications campaign

Behind culture change there’s almost always the same sentence: “if we all did it this way…”, whether it’s about customer focus, continuous improvement or a business mindset. But this is more than developing a skill or introducing a process: culture change is the spread of practices that become habits and fundamental norms of collaboration, and that serve the company’s goals.

That’s why we don’t start with a values statement. First we look at what actually works today, through measurement, assessment, generational diagnostics, and then we shape the daily and weekly practices in which culture actually lives. The end result is tangible: a shared language, aligned operations and measurably better performance.

How we help

How we help

You’re not choosing from a catalog. We start by understanding how the organization actually works today, the program is built around that, not the other way around. Four typical directions we work in most often:

Culture change you can see in everyday life

We don’t make posters, we establish practices: what should happen with a mistake, how decisions should be made, what customer focus means for you at the Monday morning meeting.

Collaboration between departments

If every department optimizes on its own, the organization as a whole loses. We work on the interfaces: shared goals, clear responsibilities and forums where conflict gets resolved, not escalated.

Generations together, data instead of opinions

Four generations work under one roof, and everyone thinks they know what’s wrong with the others. Our Genfluence generational diagnostic measures where expectations actually diverge within the organization, and what’s worth doing about it. → Genfluence

Leaders carry the culture

What leaders do day to day overrides any values statement. We work on leadership practice so that the new culture isn’t just an expectation but a visible example. → grow leaders

The format is decided after that: assessment, a workshop series, a leadership program or a multi-year culture-change process, the organization’s situation decides, not the catalog.
